About Kru Workshop
Kru Workshop is a multidisciplinary design and construction company shaped by a commitment to thoughtful spaces, skilled craftsmanship, and strong sense of place.
Our work operates across two connected areas. As a member of the Liberian Institute of Architects (LIA) and registered architect In Monrovia, Liberia, Kru Workshop provides design, planning and project-development services informed by local culture, climate, materials, and community. In Virginia as associate member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA )architectural designer, our residential arm brings ideas into physical form through homebuilding, renovation, and construction services performed within the scope of its applicable contractor licensing.
Whether developing a concept in Liberia or constructing a home in Virginia, we believe good spaces begin with listening. We work closely with clients, craftspeople, contractors, engineers, and other specialists to create practical, enduring environments that respond to the people who use them.
Kru Workshop is led by a professional registered to practice architecture in Liberia.
Kru Workshop has earned international recognition. In 2019 the company received the Best Office Architecture Liberia award in the United Kingdom for its design of the National Social Security and Welfare Corporation (NASSCORP) headquarters.
